The Cuban Book Institute reaches its 54th anniversary today, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic that has prevented any type of celebration in person for two years.
That is why, since last week, through the Internet and social networks, the Conference for the 54 years of the ICL has been held, which today comes to an end.
The program for this Tuesday includes Antón Arrufat's reading of his poem "On the shore", as well as a talk by Luis Álvarez recommending books on Cuban and universal literature.
The day's literary challenge will feature the Stay Home and Read campaign , with illustrations by renowned visual artists.
The materials will be on the Cubaliteraria YouTube page , and can also be consulted from the website . The Conference can be followed through the Communication system of the Ministry of Culture , the profiles on social networks of the Cuban Book Institute and the pages of its publishers.
