In order to promote books and reading through the use of technology, Cubaliteraria summons the I National Contest of booktubers .
Participating is very simple: they must create an original and exclusive video for the Contest, in which they review a book of their choice, published in Spanish.
The registration will be made when the contestant uploads the video to their YouTube channel or Facebook page , and sends the link to the email editorial.cubaliteraria@gmail.com .
Those who participate properly will receive an acknowledgment and, once the evaluation of admissibility, your videos and accounts will be shared in a playlist in the channel of Youtube of the Editorial Cubaliteraria labeled # BooktuberCubaliteraria2021 .
The contest will have three categories:
- Children's Booktuber : Girls and boys up to 12 years old.
- Teen Booktuber : People from 13 to 29 years old.
- Adult Booktuber : People 30 years and older.
Participation requirements:
- Each contestant can participate with a video on YouTube .
- The video must have a minimum duration of one minute and a maximum of four minutes, and must be recorded horizontally.
- The book reviewed must be published in Spanish.
- It is mandatory that the video contain the following information: title of the book reviewed and name of the author of the book.
- The review must not contain spoilers of the work.
- The material must be original, created specifically for the contest and the publication date of the video must be within the period covered by the call.
- The title of the video must include the following: BooktuberCubaliteraria + (the title of the book reviewed) . For example: BooktuberCubaliteraria + CeciliaValdés.
The call will be open from July 1 to August 15, 2021 . The results will be announced on Monday, August 30, 2021 through the publisher's website and its social networks.
The sponsors will present a set of prizes for the winning contestants, which will be chosen by a jury of writers and literary critics.
To date, 10 papers have been submitted.
