The 28th Havana International Poetry Festival is being held in hybrid format until next Saturday at Casa del Alba Cultural and several secondary venues such as the Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC) and the Higher Institute of Art (ISA).

The program includes the recital En nombre de este tiempo y su poesía, featuring actress Corina Mestre and singer-songwriter Augusto Blanca, who delighted the audience not only with the latter’s songs, but also with their renditions of poems by José Martí, Carlos Pellicer and Cuba’s National Poet Nicolás Guillén.

Since 1996, the Havana International Festival has brought poets together and built bridges of love between Cuba and other countries.
