Two interviews texts, published by En Vivo publishing house on the occasion of the 30th Havana International Book Fair, evoke relevant figures of the Cuban culture.

“La memoria esta ahi,” by Jaime Maso, and “Palabras que regresan,” by Roberto Rodriguez, are the titles that, according to experts, contribute to enrich the history of radio and television through their protagonists.

Maso’s text presents some 20 conversations that the journalist held at Havana Radio and Radio Metropolitana stations.

Among the guests are actress and teacher Corina Mestre, broadcaster Marino Luzardo, filmmaker Enrique Pineda Barnet, musician Edmundo Rodolfo Gonzalez, journalist Reinaldo Cedeño and program writer Idania Betancourt.

In “Palabras que regresan” by Fernando Rodriguez, in charge of the prologue, this work “states the stories that enrich the present and future memory of the Cuban culture.”

Roberto Rodriguez’s invitation does not escape from similar pretensions because, according to editor Norma Suarez, “Palabras que regresan” is a notebook to read at ease and learn about creation in general.

Argelio Santiesteban, Gina Cabrera, Armando Soler, Sol Pinelli, Hector Quintero, Rufo Caballero, Jesus Orta Ruiz (known as El Indio Nabori) are just some of the names presented in the text.

In addition to this two books, En Vivo publisher launches “Relatos del eter” and “Orfebres de un sueño,” both by researcher Mayra Cue; and “Confluencias de las letras en el eter,” written by Sheyla Valladares, among others.
