"There are men who see what other men do not see [or do not want or cannot see]." With that aphorism from Marti, I want to illustrate the review I made of the book To live as you live , compiled by journalists Sonia Pérez Sosa and Belkis González Abreu , as well as by designer Carlos Sutil Álvarez , to evoke the 54th anniversary of the vile murder of that Commander Ernesto Guevara de la Serna (1928-1967) was a victim in the Bolivian jungle.

Said work collects —in tight synthesis— the life and work of the Heroic Guerrilla, is aimed at Cuban youth and from all parts of the world, and inspired by the poem "Che, Comandante, amigo", which came from the soul of the Poet Nacional Nicolás Guillén (1902-1989), founding president of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), to honor the memory of the Hero of the Battle of Santa Clara.

This material includes known and unpublished photos of Che , as well as phrases from the Argentine-Cuban revolutionary and Commander Fidel Castro Ruz (1926-2016)

From a structural point of view, it is divided into five stages in the life of Commander Guevara de la Serna ; images and texts, ranging from Ernestico's childhood, adolescence and youth to his indefatigable walk as an internationalist fighter in the Sierra Maestra, the Congo and Bolivia, where he was savagely murdered by soldiers of the army of that Andean country and agents of the dark Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

On the other hand, the content appears in the Cervantine and Shakespearean languages, so that the ethical-humanist message that it transmits reaches not only the Cuban people, but also transcends the island's geographical borders.

In this book, those unique and unrepeatable moments experienced by the men and women who were with Che , who were the founder, main collaborator and illustrious guide of the Verde Olivo magazine , are evoked ; moments and situations that were forever recorded in the poetic memory of those who worked under the orders of the guerrilla doctor in that press outlet of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), created at the initiative of the undefeated Commander of America , whose spirit is in all the corners of the planet, where any kind of injustice is committed against a human being.

I would like to end by paraphrasing a quote from the writer, journalist and internationalist fighter, Pablo de la Torriente Brau (1901-1936), hero-martyr killed by fascist bullets in Majadahonda during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939):

Commander Ernesto Guevara de la Serna was, is, and will be a “man of the Revolution until the homicidal bullets [destroyed his body, but not his spirit], and that indomitable enthusiasm that [beat] in [the eternal guerrilla] suddenly turned off […]. [Yankee] imperialism always killed the best men. Until one day when he will smash the [assassin] weapon in his hands. Men like [Che live] after their death, and [his name] will shake with remorse [those who hate and destroy], and encourage [people of good blood and good hearts] as a triumph ”.
