The 13th International University Congress ²⁰²² is approaching the capital, and with it the opportunity to expose the best of the Cuban academy. In this sense, one of the workshops during the event will be the "Academic Publishing Workshop for Sustainable Development", under the leadership of Dr. José A. Baujín Pérez, Vice Chancellor of the University of Havana (UH ).

The event will address topics such as:

• The book in the society of new technologies. The future of the publishing industry in the digital environment. Educational resources, link, the university textbook in the digital environment. Educational applications and resources.
• Serials: high-impact science. Open science, research within everyone's reach, where is research going?
• Copyright. Digital publishing and new business models against copyright. Publish digital? New regulations on copyright.
• Texts for education: the editor and his responsibility. Critical tours of the edition. Quality in editing and scientific content. The promotion of the academic book. Editorial design for academic and scientific publications.
• Opportunities of the network of university presses. University publishers in the socialization of knowledge. Management of the editorial process as a company. University-business link.

The Editorial-UH has great prestige at a national and international level, as well as the scientific journals and the entire communication process that takes place in this almost three-hundred-year-old university. This workshop will be an opportunity to share with Cuban academic publishers and from other countries of the world, as well as to take from them the best experiences to improve the work. Graduated professionals from different areas of training at the University of Havana offer their knowledge and reveal that scientific research and creative work are also strengths to express the feelings of Cuban literature.
