Zulueta, the town that was taken twice by Camilo Cienfuegos at the end of 1958, will host next October 28th the launching of the book “K-milo 100fuegos, Creole like the Palms”; the book of the month selected for paying tribute to the Lord of the Vanguard, on the 60th anniversary of his physical disappearance.
According to the writer and cultural promoter Armando Borrell Curbelo, the recently refurbished Chiquitico Fabregat bookstore will become the headquarters where the locals can approach this comic book, authored by Francisco Blanco Hernandez and Francisco Blanco Avila; which recreates several anecdotes of the Hero of Yaguajay.
The historian Aristides Rondon Velasquez is in charge of the launching of the book and of highlighting its worth; to, above all, tell the new generations who Camilo Cienfuegos was.
The public that approaches this book will find the reflections on the life and work of Camilo Cienfuegos, through some comics with humorous sense and others that have a message of patriotism and loyalty with which the Lord of the Vanguard assumed the tasks of the Revolution, added the specialist.
