The organizing committee for the International Educational Film Festival invites you to its third edition, scheduled to take place in this capital and eastern Holguin province from March 27 to April 9.
Dedicated to children and adults who work with them in the audiovisual scene, the event is a training platform that will show the results of projects to promote the development and appreciation of this expression by the new generations.
On this occasion, the event is dedicated to the Spanish region of Catalonia, and the program consists of workshops, parades, audiovisual screenings, visits to communities and publishing houses, exhibitions, award ceremonies, among other events,’ the organizers told a press conference.
Representatives from Germany, France, Argentina, Spain, the Netherlands and Cuba will participate in the event, created in 2013 by Josep Arbiol, president of MICE Valencia and a member of the Jordi el Mussol Cultural Association.
The meeting, focuses on promoting audiovisual education and cinema, promotes the screening of films made in educational environments with a focus on reading and writing images, as well as the exhibition of professional films for children.
According to the general coordinator in Cuba, Ivonne Sanchez Noroña, the exhibition presents films made in learning environments by students from different parts of the world in the genres of short films, fiction, animation, documentary and report.
