The Cubadisco 2022 award, granted by professionals of the phonographic industry in the country, honors the best productions of the year, as part of its 25th edition that takes place in this capital.

In the audiovisual category, troubadour Liuba María Hevia was awarded for her studio concert La nueva escuela, a tribute to the Grupo de Experimentación Sonora del Icaic, while the vocal group Sampling stood out for its live recital on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.

Cubadisco 2022 also awarded the tresera Yarima Blanco in the category of traditional country music by recognizing the contributions of the album Pa mi tres, a collaboration between Egrem and Soundwear Productions, under the baton of Grammy Award winner and music producer Roniel Alfonso.

Meanwhile, the award in the archival music category went to singer-songwriter Amaury Pérez for the album Casi todo, while Ofrenda, by Jorge Amado and several performers, won the trophies reserved for chamber music and musicological notes.
