Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Wednesday called on young people to appropriate indispensable cultural tools to overcome political confrontation on social media.
On his Twitter account, the head of Cuban diplomacy noted that 'young people are the most active users in the digital ecosystem, which has become a political battlefield'.
'It is the new generations that should share practices and experiences of resistance and appropriate indispensable cultural tools that will allow them to win that battle,' the foreign minister tweeted.
In previous tweets, Rodriguez has called on that segment of the population to develop their dispute for a better world on social media.
He noted at the closing session of the International Meeting on Virtual Ideas that are Flags, in November 2020, that average users dedicate approximately 15 percent of their life on digital platforms, and 80 percent of young people are present there.
