The artist from Camagüey Joel Jover displays his literary profile once again with the publication of the text Poemas del Salvaje, a work inspired by the exhibition between two worlds, which was released in 1994 in Mallorca, Spain.

A concise lyric that has primitive man and his concerns as the center of the discourse is the proposal of the first fifteen poems, which are combined inside the text with the work Self-portrait with fish and the sea in the background, and invites a tour through the own experiences of the author in his different journeys.

Accompanied by illustrations composed of pieces by the visual artist, the book published by the Panamanian Editorial D’McPherson, is the opportunity to rediscover the verse and prose of Jover for whom literature is a passion that absorbs his time and reveals a new way of express feelings and longings.

Similarly, in Los poemas del Salvaje it is possible to enjoy a small collection of mini- stories signed by Joel Jover under the title The Tales of Exile, nuanced by childhood characters such as Puss in Boots or Superman.

Jover is a painter who makes poetry and assures that fate made him like that. Conquered by canvases, he returns to letters to magnify his art work and give the public everything that makes him unique. (By Claudia Artiles Díaz / Radio Camagüey)
