The Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) company has invited children and young people to participate in its vocational workshops to learn the fusion dance that is the flagship style of the prestigious company.
According to a press release issued by the institution, registrations will take place as from September 14 at its headquarters and are open to students between the ages of 5 and 13.
Experienced dancers-teachers make up the academic staff to teach the classes of those who constitute a possible quarry of the dance group, after passing through other learning levels until they reach the professional career.
The initiative is part of the actions of the LADC school for its 30 years of creation; while its Children's Ballet is preparing a tour that will take them to the German city of Berlin as part of the Concert of Lights.
Founded and directed by Lizt Alfonso, the ensemble has a varied repertoire of works that fuse ballet, contemporary, flamenco, popular Cuban and Afro-Cuban dances, among other genres that have conquered audiences of all ages and stages of the five continents.
