Xiomara Guilarte's first personal exhibition will be inaugurated this Wednesday at the Alianza Francesa de Prado, in Havana, on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day.

This psychologist by profession turned artist, includes in the exhibition photography, video art and performance, which aims to explore in the field of the human psyche those hidden spaces that are not even revealed in the light of consciousness, those that are constantly manifested without being able to defend ourselves. , he claimed.

We are talking about the inner shadow, the one that belongs to no one but oneself, underlines the young photographer.

The exhibition is part of the Francophonie Day, which will officially open this Sunday, March 12, with the performance of the French pianists Hugues Leclère and Anne Dezombre, accompanied by the Cuban flutist José Lázaro Álvarez in the Cervantes room, former Casino Spanish from Havana, and they will present the album Paris-La Havane, impressions franco-cubaines.
