The Bis Music record company released today the music video Past, present and future, with which it pays tribute to the renowned Cuban musician Adalberto Álvarez, who passed away on the 1st. of September.

The single was performed by the group that bears the name of the multi-award-winning musician, who premiered in his direction the young pianist Brayan Álvarez, son of the artist and composer of the song.

The publication of the song, available on the Bis Music channel on the YouTube video platform, coincides with the 73rd birthday of Álvarez, known inside and outside of Cuba as El Caballero del Son.

"This is a song that pays tribute to the orchestra's strong sonic style and that, in fact, constitutes the first composition of its author," the record company explained in a statement.

The director of Adalberto Álvarez y su Son transmits in Past, Present and Future an optimistic and loving message, framed in a new musical journey while maintaining the style that identifies the group founded by his father in 1984.

The song is, in addition to a tribute to El Caballero del Son, a promotional initiative for the orchestra's new album which, entitled Segunda Vuelta, is the last production in which Álvarez participated.

The video clip is also available on the group's YouTube channel and exclusively for the Cuban public on the Sandunga platform.
