The Quinta de los Molinos of the Havana City Historian's Office reopens its doors to the public, with tours every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, at 10:30 a.m.; on Saturdays, at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 m.; and on Sundays, at 11:00 a.m.
These tours include a visit to the first Butterfly Farm in Cuba and other attractions of the ecological park. In addition, you can learn about the history of the place and the characteristics of the main specimens of plants and animals.
The tours also include a stop at the General Headquarters of the Liberation Army, where participants can learn about the figure of General Máximo Gómez and his family through personal objects, anecdotes, and other interesting facts about the historical panorama in which the Quinta was present.
Likewise, the ecological space has resumed its face-to-face activities aimed at senior citizens. Thus, available to grandparents are El avispero de los Molinos, to promote healthy, developmental, and active ageing; Moviendo tu cuerpo: gymnastics for the elderly, and Envejecimiento, Naturaleza y Bienestar emocional, led by Lisette Abadie Fiandor.
Also, the Quinta de los Molinos has organized the following workshops: Tai Chi and Energy in the Elderly; Cultural Tuesday; Literary Tea: The Hornet's Nest between Arts and Letters, by Edisleydis de Armas; Crafts and The Magic of Creating with your Hands: Doll-making IV.
