It's 11 a.m. in a cloudy day, in Havana. The bust stop outside Fabrica de arte cubano, a cultural center by Cuban Singer X Alfonso is full of people who are waiting for the line P3. The sea is near the place and you can feel the sound of waves by the wind. Suddenly, it is quiet, someone has taken a break at the factory.

X Alfonso always perform in black with loose hair during the concerts, but today he is wearing a white pullover and faded pants Occasionally he looks up and asks us where we want to sit. He almost looks like a nervous child who has been taken out of bed early.

There is something that makes X Alfonso “wakes up”. It is the color of the benches and the bicycle that adorn the upper terrace of Fábrica de Arte.

- Have you finished the bike? Paint those in red and then I finish the others, said the painter, while someone opens a room so that we sit there.

X Alfonso paints the banks himself. After all, they are part of that place where he spents mucht time working on his recording projects. In this space has been recently placed in the 16th place of the top 100 best places in the world by Time magazine. Funs have been waiting for his new recording project by Cuban Singer by X Alfonso called "Inside", for almost ten years.

We are seated facing a camera and the press representative, X Alfonso leans back and forth and speaks just a little.

“Inside is not a conventional album. It is a kind of experiment, a new project that we are making it with Bonus Track, through experiences, movements and exercises. An adventure on which people will participate. ”

It is not a surprise that X Alfonso asks not to call “Inside” an album, but a record project. X Alfonso has always liked to experiment. From techno, rock, trova, traditional Cuban music to Afro-American rhythms, "X Moré” album in 2001, a tribute to Benny More, is one of the greatest Cuban musicians of all times. This musical experiment established him in the musical history of the country.

In one of the factory's upper rooms, the musician talks about “Cambio”, the first of six singles that will appear since September 27 until next year. He looks up and down as if he was looking for an answer in heaven and earth. Does X Alfonso believe in God? X Alfonso got married in India and took the butterfly effect as a philosophy of life, a physical theory of the mathematician and meteorologist, Edward Lorenz, whose origin is the Chinese proverb: “The flutter of a butterfly can be felt on the other side of the world".

His songs often seek to raise awareness, on the basis that a small action can cause great effects. Precisely for that reason the cover of "Inside" is a butterfly.
“The butterfly means the soul in many philosophies and I think that is what you have to see right now, above all, in these hard times. I believe in people. They have showed all the time that they really want to move forward. My messages are addressed to those people who risk everything they have to move forward. ”

Recently, some butterflies have been appearing on the streets and facades of Havana. Tanks, pieces of the waterfront and parks have witnessed the campaign that the X Alfonso team has created for this launch.

X Alfonso looks at the journalist and says: “This is a mix of almost all elements happening nowadays, but this is much more than an album, you will see it.

X Alfonso looks happy. In fact, there is s a shine on his eyes. You get surprised then by the sorrow some of his songs reflect. Sometimes his songs seem to be an ode to sadness. Even his videos turn to frozen images in black and white of lonely faces.

Maybe that's why X Alfonso seems to be happy and nervous. His first song comes out after almost 10 years.
