This trio displays an excellent conjunction between bowed and hit strings, in which the violin, the viola, and the piano share the main role.
Art Trío comprises a chamber format devoted to the performing of a universal repertory for classical threesome, and at the same time comprises one of Cuban and Latin American ones.
In their recital, which took place on November 26th, they performed pieces by two young Cuban musicians: Ab Imo Pectore: Intro y Variaciones 1-7, by Yalil Guerra and Visiones Profundas; I. Andante Misterioso; II. Lento Lírico y III. Presto Dramático by Jorge Amado.
This program was produced by the National Center for Concert Music and the José Martí Theatre of the Cuban Institute of Music, in collaboration with Dual Estudio. It was broadcasted by Canal Clave, the Cuban Institute of Music’s Facebook page, the Ministry of Culture’s YouTube channel and Radio Progreso.
