The leader of the famous Cuban duo Buena Fe, Israel Rojas, expressed on November 28 that he was very happy for his third time in Costa Rica, after intense days between Mexico and Guatemala.
From what the organizers tell us, at the Jazz Café in Escazú it will be a night of love, full of songs, of emotions, Israel told Prensa Latina at the Juan Santamaría international airport, shortly after arriving in this country from Guatemala. , where he gave three concerts, together with Yoel Martínez and the pianist Ernesto Cisneros.
After the pandemic, gradually restarting artistic life and letting the songs bring us to countries where we have an audience that likes our work is always an immense joy, highlighted the Cuban singer-songwriter, to whom we owe hits like PI 3.14 , Spyglass and National Mammal , among others.
Regarding the new album by Buena Fe, called Morada , he pointed out that it will be released in February of next year. «We already presented a theme, which has done very well. It even amazes us that in the concerts we have done these days in Mexico and Guatemala, people sing it to die for, as if it were a song of a lifetime.
He estimated that this gives them a very good idea of what the next album will be, which will probably do very well. “We are very happy with the work done on it. In February of next year we must make a presentation and confirm that we are still alive, that the music continues to flow and hopefully our audience will find it interesting.
For his part, the producer of Buena Fe for Central America, Carlos Pacheco, highlighted the moment, after such a difficult period for all humanity, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, in which artists and lovers of music and performing arts were impacted by the closure of these activities.
«With the passage of the worst situation, enthusiasts of Buena Fe, with a working relationship of more than a decade, in which we have been able to have him in concerts in Guatemala, El Salvador and Costa Rica, we had the firm conviction and we set out to that we would resume these presentations when there were the conditions.
"The stars aligned, we talked with Israel to see the possibilities in this period of the year, before closing 2022, that we could have it in Central America again and we have worked hard on this with local support to create the conditions for their concerts," he said. Pacheco.
He said that after his successful presentations in Mexico and Guatemala, we now hope that in Costa Rica it will be like his presentations in 2018 and 2019, with full houses.
Pacheco recalled that in the first year a second concert had to be scheduled due to the excellent reception, both from Costa Ricans and from members of the Cuban community residing here, who enjoy the music of Buena Fe and are eager to have this new intimate, special encounter. , in a place like the Jazz Café Escazú.
