The city hall of the French city of Enghien Les Bains delivered a donation of musical instruments and technological accessories to the National School of Art. The collaboration project has the support of the UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network.
France and Cuba write another page in favor of both nations’ cultural development. Mr. Philippe Sueur, mayor of the city of Enghien Les Bains, went to the National School of Art itself accompanied by a delegation of officials of that European city. They were received by Indira Fajardo, president of the Cuban Institute of Music; and Rolando Ortega, director of the National Center for Art Teaching.
The French delegation enjoyed the talent of young musicians who study several majors. The music that gets merged with Afro-Cuban, the circus with its universal language and painting were some of the art forms through which the friendship between Cuba and France was celebrated; and the musical instruments and technological accessories thanked for.
The UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network supports the French initiative that, as a common good, greatens cultural development.
