The Cuban musician José María García-Marruz will premiere at 17:00 on Sunday, November 14th the show Havana, at the Karl Marx Theater of Havana, during the activities for the 502th anniversary of the Cuban capital.
Among the guests, there is the Lyceum Orchestra of Havana and the soloists Niurka González, Javier Cantillo, and Marcos Madrigal.
During the 49th edition of the Cervantino International Festival, José María Vitier García-Marruz and his quartet astonished the audience and the local press, who defined as excellent his presentation at the Juárez Theater, in the Mexican city of Guanajuato.
Being entitled Tarde en La Habana, the performance was an interpreter’s tour through some moments of piano music, and it comprised concert music pieces, soundtracks, and fusion music that paid tribute to the Cuban capital.
The activities for the 502nd anniversary of the foundation of the Village of San Cristobal de La Habana will take place from November 1st to 16th, having artistic presentations and the reopening of cultural centers.
